    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.53 (1) to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on National Security, Defense and Foreign Relations, regarding the recent deaths of individuals in Chuka Town and along the border between Tharaka and Igembe South. In the Statement, the Committee should- (1) Explain the action taken to address security concerns within the border area of Toroni Location of Tharaka North in Tharaka-Nithi County and Igika Location in Meru County, including any steps taken to address incitement from politicians in the region, which resulted to two people namely, Evans Mutembei and Gitonga Njuki losing their lives recently. (2) The same Committee should outline the timeline for providing compensation for families affected by the incitements of insecurity along the said border."
