"content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I rise to support the Statement by Sen. Gataya Mo Fire with regards to the young man who was shot by police during demonstrations in Chuka. I urge the Committee of National Security, Defence and Foreign Affairs to urgently give a report on that particular matter that took place during maandamano . As we stated earlier, at this point, we encourage bipartisan talks to be tabled on this Floor. The kind of demonstrations that have ended made us lose the lives of our wonderful Kenyans, who worked hard to bring food on the table. I support Sen. Gataya Mo Fire because he supports his people and as Kenyans, we back him up. We want this matter tabled very urgently. The County Commissioner should very fast give this Committee a report on the young man whose soul rested due of demonstrations."
