I want to draw the attention of the Cabinet Secretary that I come from Dadaab Constituency where we have over 450,000 refugees who are not given any source of energy by the agencies, the United Nations being primary among them, for them to use for cooking and so, they deplete the environment. Has your Ministry considered the calamity that is going on there as far as degradation of the environment is concerned? In consultation with the agency, what do you plan to do to make sure that the refugees have other forms of energy to cook instead of them cutting down trees in that fragile and limited ecosystem?"
