    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker, for this opportunity. We have problems here and there when it comes to betting. The problems are not limited to betting. Our youths and even older ones bet so as to get quick money. In the end, people become mad. Most of them become crazy because they have wasted all their savings. Children end up dropping out of school. They go through all that because of betting. People want to get money all the time. Like Mheshimiwa has said, there are other issues. In future, we will have some problems. There is also the issue of bodabodas and motorbikes. Within the next 20 years, there will be many people with disabilities in this country because of bodaboda accidents involving vijana wetu . We should think of regulating some of these issues. There is also the issue of securing loans using logbooks and title deeds. Those issues are causing a lot of stress to Kenyans. Because of the problems in Kenya, people seem to be engaging in many ventures, which could be very dangerous in future. I support this Motion because we have to do something about the betting industry. The Government must come up with regulations about what is supposed to be done in a proper manner. Otherwise, we will face many cases of suicide because of betting. We have to come up with regulations to safeguard our youths and even the wazee who are retiring. People waste all their retirement benefits on betting. Those are the kind of things which are happening in this country. I support the Motion, Hon. Temporary Speaker. Thank you."
