"content": "sub-sector is very important in the economy because of its contribution to the transportation of the people. If you look around the country as a matter of fact, in most of the regions, you will find that the only mode of transport that is loved by people is bodaboda. Besides, it has created employment to many people who otherwise would go without food on their tables. However, that very important sector is faced with challenges as I have already said. It is a fact that many of the riders are not trained and thus, cause many accidents. If you go to any county hospital or health centres in the countryside, you will find that most of the patients are as a result of the accidents that are caused by bodaboda riders. Therefore, as much as we want to support them, we need to be careful so that we do not end up over-regulating that sector. What is proposed here are two layers of regulations; one by the NTSA and another by the county governments."
