    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker. I am a member of the Departmental Committee on Transport and Infrastructure and I wanted to respond on behalf of the Committee. First, I would want to acknowledge the amendments that are being proposed by Hon. Simon King’ara, Member for Ruiru Constituency, on the matter that is before us this afternoon. Most importantly, the Committee wishes to let the House know that it is in support of all the proposals and the reforms that are being proposed on the bodaboda sector and also the proposals to enforce compliance and enhance safety within the sector. I think there is too much chaos within the bodaboda sector that invites us to re-look at all the laws and regulations that govern it."
