"content": "One of the reforms that I invite the Mover of the Bill to look into critically is the issue of the licensing and training of the bodaboda riders. We all know that bodaboda is a form of employment. Due to desperate situations that some young boys are faced with, they get trained in a day and the following day they are riders on the road carrying passengers to various destinations. They do not even know the road signs. They do not know when to make a turn. They do not even know how to use the features on the motorcycles. That is why we have high numbers of road accidents that are caused by those bodaboda riders."
