"content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker, for giving me this opportunity to also make my contribution on this issue of sexual harassment in Kericho Tea Estates. First, I want to thank the Committee for an excellent Report. Secondly, I want to thank the media for highlighting this issue because it is the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Africa which did this. My main concern is the observations that have been made by the Committee. The investigations that are being conducted by the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) into the allegations are progressing slowly. In fact, it is a way of saying that there are no investigations that are going on. Thirdly, they have said that the four persons that are named in the documentary as perpetrators have not been arrested nor even charged in any court of law. It means that even though there was an exposé, the investigating authorities did not bother to go and address this matter. From the Committee's Report, there is fear that probably, those tea workers who were sexually harassed might not get justice"
