Before I add my voice, I want to congratulate the Committee which has done good research and produced a very good Report. I also want to congratulate Hon. Beatrice and tell her that this is the way to go and should not stop at this stage because we need to see people getting their rights. This thing that is happening in the tea estates in Kericho is very bad. It is not only happening in Kericho, but in other areas as well. Kericho tea estates should act as an attestation for the other institutions that are doing the same thing of harassing women. I have a wife and daughters in the house. I want to support them because we have women and they need to be protected. Some of them are vulnerable and they do this because they want to secure jobs. If they do not do it, they are likely to lose their jobs."
