(ii) How much these countries should provide to finance adaptation programmes of developing countries. The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Mr. Gordon Brown and his counterpart in France were emphatic that Kenya should be the first to benefit from global climate financing. Indeed, Kenya has an enormous potential to contribute towards mitigating climate change and also an enormous need to adapt economic activities and way of life to climate change."
