Members, pursuant to Standing Order 41(1) of the National Assembly Standing Orders, I wish to convey a Message from the Senate regarding the passage of the Division of Revenue Bill (National Assembly Bill, No. 9 of 2023). The Message conveys that on Thursday, 20th April 2023, the Senate considered and passed the said Bill in the form passed by the National Assembly without amendments. You will recall that on Tuesday, 21st March 2023, the National Assembly considered and passed the said Bill without amendments, following which I referred the Bill to the Senate for consideration. The passage of the said Bill, by the Senate in the same form passed by the National Assembly, concludes the bicameral consideration of the Bill in accordance with Article 110 of our Constitution."
