    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker. I am seated behind Bishop Khamala and I want to make a special plea that you allow him educate us and preach to us the importance of the doctrine of fasting, religion and the path to heaven. As a Catholic, we believe in Mathew 6:16-18 and allow me to read as it is written. “And when you fast, do not chose to become gloomy like the hypocrites for they alter their faces so that their fasting may be apparent to men. I say to you that they have received their rewards”. I am neither a pastor nor a theologist. Therefore, I will not bother to delve into it but the Biblical position on fasting is supposed to bring you closer to God and not closer to the grave.
