    "content": "In the first batch, we are assigning 24 laws to the Standing Committee on Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, one law to the Standing Committee of Devolution and Intergovernmental Relations, one law to the Energy Committee, one law to the Finance and Budget Committee, 15 laws to the Health Committee, one law to the Labor and Social Welfare Committee. Ten laws to the Committee on Land, Environment and Natural Resources. Two laws to the Committee on National Security, Defence and Foreign Relations. Four laws to the Committee on Roads, Transportation and Housing Committee and two laws to the Committee on Trade, Industrialisation and Tourism. Mr. Speaker, Sir, the Committee would like to urge colleagues in the Senate to support this effort and to make it an urgent activity of their committees so that this Senate can be called or can be known as the Senate that took responsibility to ensure that all laws have been aligned to the Constitution and the ongoing clawback against devolution has been tamed. As I conclude, I wish to register the Committee's appreciation for the support accorded to members by your office to work on this work, and the role played by the Office of the Clerk and his Secretariat, who have worked so tirelessly to enable us to submit this Statement.
