    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I rise to make a Statement, on behalf of the Senate Majority Leader, on the Business of the Senate for the week commencing Tuesday, 2nd May, 2023, pursuant to Standing Order No. 57(1). There are 27 Bills which have been published in the Senate. Out of these Bills, 17 are due for Second Reading Stage and four are at the Committee of the Whole Stage. A further five Bills are undergoing concurrence pursuant to Article 110 of the Constitution and one Bill has been enacted into law. As indicated in today’s Order Paper at Order No. 8, debate on the Equalization Fund Appropriation Bill (Senate Bills No. 3 of 2023) is still ongoing. As I communicated last week, the passage of this Bill is crucial for unlocking funds under the Equalization"
