    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I very much appreciate the Prime Cabinet Secretary’s presentation. He has given us a picture of the assistance the Government is providing to communities affected by drought and famine. However, I note that Nairobi, with one of the largest populations suffering from poverty, is completely left out of the relief food distribution. There are pockets of abject poverty and increasing hunger exacerbated by high unemployment in the informal settlements in our capital city. These communities have no safety nets and often fall through the cracks. What measures is the Government taking to ensure that these neglected and disadvantaged communities in neighbourhoods such as mine in Kamukunji are assisted and supported through this difficult period?"
