    "content": "These conventions are also in line with the supreme law of the land, that is, the Constitution of Kenya, 2010. Article 53 of the Constitution provides for the protection of children born of Kenyan and non-Kenyan nationals. It is important that our children are not subjected to abuse, neglect, harmful cultural practices, all forms of violence, inhumane treatment and punishment, and hazardous and exploitative labour."
