    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I beg to move the following Motion- THAT, the Senate adopts the Report of the Standing Committee on Devolution and Intergovernmental Relations on a Statement sought on the relocation of National Government administrative services from Chuka Town to Kathwana County Headquarters, Tharaka Nithi County, laid on the Table of the Senate on Wednesday, 19th April, 2023. At a sitting of the Senate held on Wednesday, 19th October, 2022, the Senator for Tharaka Nithi, Sen. Mwenda Gataya Mo Fire, MP, rose pursuant to Standing Order No.53(1), to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Devolution and Intergovernmental Relations. The Statement was on the relocation of Government administration services from Chuka Town to Kathwana County Headquarters in Tharaka Nithi County. During its consideration and deliberations on the Statement on 27th October, 2022, the Senator for Tharaka Nithi, Sen.
