(3) Joint aggressive marketing campaigns in leading global conventions on sea and maritime affairs and enhanced security to increase the number of international visitors arriving by sea. (4) Lobbying for infrastructure improvement such as upgrading of Moi International Airport, Ukunda Airstrip, Dongo Kundu Bypass, among others. (5) Repositioning Magical Kenya as a premier brand to attract international tourists from diverse source markets and segments. (6) Advocating for good publicity and timely lifting of negative travel advisories on the country. (7) Develop a carefully assessed and selected tourism products for niche markets such as birding, game viewing of rare and unique wildlife such as dugongs, dolphins, white rhinos, mountain climbing and running with the marathoners. (8) Continuous research on tourism sector priority issues for timely remittal policy interventions. Mr. Speaker, Sir, in addition, our hospitality college, Utalii College did a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the cruise ship to train seafarers. The college has also had a session with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Atlantic Cruise Ship so that he can also send seafarers. We are in the process of operationalizing tourism protection services in collaboration with the National Police Service (NPS). In Executive Order No.2023, we saw the tourism protection service put under the docket of the Ministry of Tourism Wildlife and Cultural Heritage. Finally, we are remarketing of Kenya as a destination for cruise ships through the coming royal tour.
