Gataya Mo Fire, the mandate of the Ministry of lands, Housing and Urban Development, through the State Department for Lands and Physical Planning is administration of land matters. The question being asked is about the safety of members of Machabeni Sub Location to return to their land which is not within our purview. Given the mandate of the Ministry of Interior and National Administration to ensure peace and security for people and property, we have engaged them vide a letter dated 28th April, 2023, to adequately respond to the said question."
