This debt is still outstanding to the three co-operative societies because Westlands Dairy Limited was put under receivership and subsequently sold to a second owner. (b)The three dairy co-operative societies owed money by Westlands Dairy Limited were advised to seek legal redress because the contract was between the co- operative societies and a private entity."
