I agree with the Committee that the specific Cabinet Secretary can gazette and request for an extension of such regulations. I do not know why the Committee did not use its powers. There is what we call the Powers and Privileges Act. Article 125 of the Constitution gives Parliament the power to summon any witness. The Attorney General is not an exemption."
