"content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. Thank you, Cabinet Secretary for coming here to answer our Questions. I have an issue about the school feeding programmes. Hon. Speaker, I come from Ganze where poverty levels are very high. One of the factors that contributed to high enrolment in schools was the availability of the school feeding programme in all primary schools. This was a very good programme, but at some point, it was discontinued. As a result, many students have dropped out of school to go and do menial jobs as they fend for themselves and their families. Why was the school feeding programme stopped? Are there any plans by the Government to revive it?"
