    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I rise pursuant to I rise, pursuant to Standing Order No.53 (1), to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Roads, Transportation and Housing on the construction status of the road connecting Lake Kenyatta Primary School to Uziwa Junction in Lamu County. In the Statement, the Committee should- (1) Provide details of the tender for the upgrade of the road from earthen to concrete paving blocks, including the date, identity of the contractor who won the award, the amount of funds allocated for the project and the scope of works to be undertaken. (2) Clarify whether the Ministry of Roads and Transport is aware that the work was done but the concrete paving blocks were subsequently removed by the contractor and, if so, state the reasons for the same; and"
