It is actually the crux of this Bill because under the Mining Act, you would see that there were different formulae for distributing the benefit. There was also a different method of apportioning benefit to the communities in the Petroleum Act. Therefore, this one has sort of tried to streamline the benefit sharing formula, so that every Kenyan can understand it. I support it, Mr. Chairperson, Sir."
