As various changes continue to be witnessed in our County Assemblies, we cannot come with the same mentality of 2013 to 2017. Previously you heard of misappropriation of tenders that are being fixed here and there. However, out of the vigilance of the Ethics and Anticorruption Commission (EACC), you see a lot of corruption in our county governments through this item that is being flagged by the Committee of Budget and Finance. You find an allocation of over Kshs6 billion in a county yet dedicating in excess of Kshs500 million to legal services. What is this the counties are paying for?"
