    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. As Members may be aware, 30 per cent of secondary schools in the country are boarding schools. There are national and county schools. Every Kenyan wants to take their child to a national or an extra-county school. Therefore, those schools are overstretched. Day schools, which are 70 per cent of our schools, are not as overstretched. That is why, going forward, we want to equip more day schools for parents to see the need to take their children there. As it is now, the national schools cannot accommodate more than what they are accommodating. Unless a school has facilities, it should not go beyond the allocated numbers. On funds, we are able to do as much as the funds you give us. You know the tuition funds you give us.
