The question of public universities is very dear to many Members of Parliament because these institutions and colleges traverse almost all our counties and constituencies. Hon. Cabinet Secretary, you might be aware that there are cartels running certain departments within the Ministry of Education, particularly the KUCCPS and the University Fund. You have told us that you will not be funding any new students to private universities in the next financial year."
