    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker. The information that I wanted to give to the Leader of the Majority Party is that a reduction was made by the Departmental Committee on Education for Ksh1 billion, which we upheld. So, our only concern as the Budget and Appropriations Committee was what happens to students who are continuing with their education. They were placed there by the Ministry through KUCCPS. They did not choose to go to private universities. These students are from our constituencies. In fact, right now, we are receiving a lot of harambee invitations to raise funds for these students. So, our concern as Members is whether the Ministry can tell us what will happen to continuing students. If they are to complete their education, the Ministry should provide sufficient funding for them to do so as we change the model.
