    "content": "the Government will not provide funds to that particular university, as Government, as much as possible, we will sponsor and support students joining our public universities. In order to make higher education and particularly university education accessible, this administration is starting a national open university with eight programmes. I requested the Departmental Committee on Education and the Budget and Appropriations Committee to support us to have a budget for the National Open University because it will offer degree programmes. One can even get a PhD from the comfort of their houses. We request that when the proposal is brought to this House for approval, it is fast-tracked."
