    "content": "The nominee informed the Committee that he had many years of experience. He started working as an Economist in 1985. He worked at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for over 20 years and 12 years at the Kenya National Treasury. His specialisation is in designing macro-economic policies - fiscal, monetary and exchange rate - and financial programming. This model was critical in ensuring that the macro-economic framework involving the real sector, fiscal and monetary sectors and the balance of payments were internally consistent to serve as a platform for rapid economic growth, poverty reduction and wealth creation. Dr Kamau Thugge informed the Committee that currently, he holds the position of Senior Advisor to the President and Head of Fiscal and Budget Affairs, having been appointed in 2022."
