    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, that information is not useful to me. It is okay. I will ignore it. Mr. Speaker, Sir, in that Progress Report that the Chairperson of the Committee on Devolution and Intergovernmental Relations has given, he is proposing a meeting between the Senate and the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC). My expectation was he was coming to report to us the recommendation and findings of the first, second and third meeting that they have had with SRC. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I call on my friend whom I had lunch with today, Sen. Abass and the Committee, to up their game. This matter is a threat to devolution as we know it. If we continue doing library research on reports that we bring to the Table and do things to tick boxes, we put devolution at risk. We must defend devolution. The first line of defending devolution is to make sure that MCAs are taken good care of, so that they can take care of devolution at the grassroots."
