    "content": "I wish to second the Motion that this House approves the appointment of Mr. Noordin Mohamed Haji as the Director-General of the National Intelligence Service. As has been said by my Chairman, the Committee paid due regard to the procedure used to arrive at the nominee. He meets all the constitutional and statutory requirements relating to the office of Director- General of the NIS. He is suitable as nominee for the appointment proposed having regard to his abilities, experience, and qualities which meet the needs of the Service."
