Most of it having been performed at the National Intelligence Service at senior levels. 4. The nominee has not been charged in a court of law. This, therefore, informed us on his suitability. 5. The nominee does not hold office in any political party, a requirement under the Schedule to the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act. Hon. Speaker, during the approval hearings, the nominee demonstrated knowledge of topical, administrative, and technical issues touching on the Government and has the requisite abilities, qualifications, and experience to serve as the Director-General of the National Intelligence Service."
