The suitability of the nominees was assessed after scrutiny of their background, academic credentials, and professional qualifications, work and professional experience, personal integrity as well as the performance. The approval hearing was conducted by the Committee on Thursday, 25th April 2023. It observed that the procedure used to arrive at the nominees was lawful and in compliance with Article 171(2)(h) of the Constitution of Kenya.
