"content": "The first Message relates to the passage of the Equalization Fund Appropriation Bill, (Senate Bill No.3 of 2023), published vide Kenya Gazette Supplement No.7 of 31st January 2023. The Bill seeks to authorise the issuance of a sum of money out of the Equalization Fund and its application towards the service of the year ending 30th June 2023, and to appropriate the said sums for certain public basic services in marginalised zones. In the Message, the Senate on Tuesday, 6th June 2023, considered and passed the Equalization Fund Appropriation Bill (Senate Bill No.3 of 2023) with amendments."
