    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I said that in this year’s Budget, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance has allocated Kshs20 million per constituency for the construction of health centres. That is in the Budget. The other thing I said is that we are hiring nurses and we shall be deploying 20 nurses per constituency. We hope that those 20 nurses will be rationally distributed within the constituency to provide services in the dispensaries, health centers and sub-district hospitals. I know for certain that even when we provide 20 nurses per constituency during this financial year, that will not be enough. But we have a plan to recruit at least 1,600 nurses every financial year between now and when we are voted out of office in 2012."
