Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, clause 14 of the Bill be amended by: (a) Deleting the expression “subsection (3)” appearing in the opening statement and substituting therefor the expression “subsection (2)” (b) Deleting the expression “(4)” appearing in the beginning of the proposed new subsection and substituting therefor the expression “subsection (3)” This is more less of a clean-up because the proposed Amendment seeks to correct the reference to the subsubsection which is being introduced. The subsection being introduced under Section 18(a) of the Income Tax Act is Subsection (3) and not Subsection (4). Subsequently, Part(b) of the Amendment seeks to correct the reference to the correct subsection which is being introduced. The subsection being introduced under Section 18(a) of the Income Tax Act is Subsection (3) and not Subsection (4). It is a clean-up exercise. I support."
