    "content": " Hon. Chairlady, these taxation measures will be very punitive. The tax is being increased from Ksh1500 to Ksh3000 at once, and from Ksh60 to Ksh100 per passenger per matatu . Both sides of the House should agree that this amendment is not good. It will kill many small businesses, especially in the matatu sector. The turnover tax has been increased from 1 per cent to 3 per cent. The tax of the people with trucks and small cars will be increased from Ksh1500 advance tax to Ksh3000. This will too much. Let us agree to reduce these taxes. I hope that the Chairman of the Committee can agree to reduce them."
