I said if you must lie, lie like a priest. A story is told of a priest who was going to cross a border to another country. The priest was accompanied by a lady. The lady had something that she needed to declared before crossing the border. The lady decided to put the item into the priest’s pocket. On reaching where they were supposed to declare, the security asked the priest what he had to declare. The priest said that, “from my belt upwards, I have nothing to declare”. The security officer asked the priest, “what about from your belt downwards”? The priest said, “from my belt downwards, I have something precious to ladies”. He was allowed to passed.
