"content": "In the Statement, the Committee should - (1) provide a comprehensive explanation on the reasons behind the frequent incidents of police shootings of civilians in Kisumu County, as well as identify the police officers involved in these incidents; (2) detail the actions undertaken by the Independent Police Oversight Authority (IPOA) and the National Police Service to investigate the police officers implicated in the recurrent incidents of civilian shootings in Kisumu County, detailing any transfers or suspensions that have been made concerning these officers; (3) table a report outlining the ongoing criminal investigations as well as pending and concluded criminal prosecutions pertaining to the civilian shootings carried out by police in Kisumu County; and (4) deal with measures that have been taken to improve police service delivery,"
