    "content": "The Chairperson of the Committee of the Whole acceded to the request and the Bill was subsequently deferred to a later date. Hon. Senators, to avert a situation whereby the Bill may stall at the Committee of the Whole Stage, I direct that all hon. Senators who wish to make amendments to the Natural Resources Benefit Sharing Bill (Senate Bills, No.6 of 2022) file them with the office of the Clerk. The amendments must be filed by close of business Tuesday 27th June, 2023. This will allow time for scrutiny and harmonization of the amendments before the next Committee of the Whole. Amendments filed after the deadline will not be processed."
