    "content": "My amendment is to provide for a 10 per cent Excise Duty on imported soap, detergents, and sulphonic acid. There has been an increase in importation of soap detergents and sulphonic acid in Kenya. We have sufficient local capacity to produce these products. The amendment will protect our local manufacturers and address cheap imports of soap and related products."
