I hope that the Public Petitions Committee would be able to table their report in this House because matters of land in the Coast region and Rift Valley, especially the North Rift, are very touchy and sensitive. We hope that with the Government putting up money to purchase about one million acres, the squatter issue will be sorted out in the Coast region, North Rift and any other affected area. Hon. Speaker, you are one of the leaders from Trans Nzoia and Western, and you know that the issue of squatters in Trans Nzoia is a very emotive one and needs to be handled and resolved once and for all.
