    "content": "Therefore, I support this Motion. We need to protect the environment seriously. We discussed the work that the county governments are supposed to do in ensuring that they take care of our environment because it is a devolved function. We should also support them in one way or the other. Hon. Temporary Speaker, my microphone is still on. We should also clean our environment because this is where we live. I support this Motion which was ratified in Kenya because it means a lot to our Government. We cannot ratify some of these amendments and fail to push them to become law. The moment we ratify a protocol and join the other countries to protect the Indian Ocean, it becomes a law."
