Temporary Speaker, I stand to second the ratification of Bamako Convention on the Ban of Importation into Africa and the Control of Transboundary Movement and Management of Hazardous Waste within Africa,1991. This convention is important specifically to this country because any waste that is brought to Africa is harmful to our people, wild animals and the environment. You know the changes and challenges that we are undergoing as a result of climate change. This is another way we can control and rectify the challenges that we are experiencing as a result of climate change.
