    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Speaker. I rise to support the Bamako Convention, which seeks to stop the importation of hazardous and radioactive waste into Africa. We also need to take the initiative, as African countries, to implement this convention by controlling and minimising the trans-boundary crossing of developed countries, which come to Africa to dump their waste. I believe that developed countries know that dumping their waste in Africa results in diseases, and we end up going to their countries to seek treatment."
