    "content": "constituency, we have a very high rate of cancer. If you look at the map of Kenya, you will find that agricultural areas like Kiambu have many cases of cancer. This is caused by dumping of cheap materials and contaminated fertilisers, which are banned in the western countries. I urge that we fund our investigative agencies and put laws in place so that we can have checks and balances to make sure that goods or materials that are banned in the western world are not allowed into our country. If we allow them, we will continue to have a very big problem of deteriorating health amongst Kenyans, which then becomes expensive for us. With those remarks, I support the Motion and commend the Committee for bringing it to the House."
