"content": "I totally agree, and probably to some extent disagree, that there should be a 50 to 50 per cent share arrangement on servicing domestic and foreign debt. The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) made a comment and they were very clear under Paragraph 19 of their Report. The CBK knows that the capacity of domestic market to support elevated financing needs is limited. That is a very clear sign. We are aware that every week or month, CBK releases reports on uptake of Treasury Bills and other related bonds. If you track the reports and plot, you will find that the appetite has been reducing.
