"content": "The Committee also recommends that at the end of each quarter in each financial year, a report on the CFS should be brought to the National Assembly indicating the actual expenditures compared to the budget estimates. We were here the other week talking about the Finance Bill, which I am on record voting against because of the amount of taxation we were putting on our people. It is really frustrating our people. I am serving my third term in this House and I can tell how difficult it is to lead people who are overtaxed. Therefore, we must balance between borrowing and taxation. My first degree is in finance and my master’s is in Strategic Management, and my PhD, which I am almost completing… let me not go on. I must appreciate, and I am sure Hon. Osoro appreciates the same as we support the Report."
