As a teacher, I want to inform the House that in Uganda, half of the school population learns in Kiganda and on the eastern part, they learn in Kigisu . So, when a child is young and he is learning-- The purpose of a child going to school is to be given instructions so as to understand why he or she has gone to school. For our children to be subjected to English just because it is an international language is not important in this matter."
